Since joining JOY in early 2021 I built a department from 1 to 8, leading all resourcing, development, mentorship and overall management of my team across 22+ clients.

 

As part of the Senior Leadership Team a large part of my role included identifying and driving revenue opportunities for JOY. This came to life through designing bespoke tools & templates for all areas of social, building and launching in-house social production capabilities, and expanding existing clients to new platforms and disciplines of social.

I acted as fully client-facing Senior Leadership across all social accounts, with notable brands including MG, OFX, Centr, Adventure Kings. McPhersons and De'Longhi.

​

Achievements include spearheading the certification of JOY as an LGBTQI+ Inclusive business, defining & rolling out agency-wide KPI review processes, and speaking at the Mumbrella Automotive Summit in Melbourne, September 2022 on advertising to GenZ.

As the 2ic to Social Director my role revolved around key client and project management, oversight, QA and approval of all social performance reporting, as well as direct management and mentorship of a team of 2.

 

I was also responsible for all social media planning, buying, and optimisation across all client and in-house activity, social strategy development, KPI setting, performance forecasting, and pitching on new business, as well as creative ideation and management of asset production across all placements and platforms, independently or alongside creative teams.

​

Key accounts included Subaru, Peugeot, Goodman Fielder, and Destination NSW covering Sydney NYE, Mardi Gras, VIVID, NSW Bushfire crisis, Flood crisis management, "Now to Love" campaign, and the COVID response and strategy pivot.
